Jewelry Care

No matter your lifestyle or how careful you are, it is best practice to get in a routine of cleaning your jewelry.

    Everyday Maintenance:
Put your jewelry on last. Wait until after you have applied makeup, lotions & perfume before putting on your jewelry

Keep away from moisture. Remove jewelry before swimming, showering, exercising and even sleeping. If it does get wet,  be sure to rinse off with warm water and pat dry.

After each wear, gently wipe it clean using a soft cloth. Every couple of days give your pieces a simple cleaning with a mild soap, warm water and pat dry. Oils and products build up on your jewelry over time and a regular bath for your jewels will help ensure that look beautiful for years to come.

    Cleaning:
If your piece was exposed to chemicals or products, it's best to give it a good cleaning right away! Please follow the instructions below based on the metal type of your jewelry.

    14k Gold-filled:
Get a small bowl of warm water and mix with a mild soap
Soak your jewelry in the bowl for about 2 minutes
Scrub the chain or any tight places where products & oils like to build up on your jewelry with a soft toothbrush (think baby toothbrush soft)
      Rinse with warm water
Pat dry with a soft cloth & you're good to go!
        Sterling Silver:
Use a polishing cloth, we recommend sunshine polishing cloths.
Or soak in vinegar and baking soda for 1 hour and rinse clean.

        Brass:
Brass & Copper react to the oils in your skin and will begin to patina. If the patina is too much for your liking, simply follow the steps below to restore it to it's original color.
Small bowl, toothbrush, 1/2 cup of white vinegar, 1 tbsp salt ,1/3 cup of flour

Mix the vinegar, salt and flour together in a bowl until it becomes a paste. You may need to add more flour to thicken the mixture.
Use the toothbrush to clean the piece. Once it is back to the color you desire, rinse well with warm water and dry completely!
